In January of 2015, I had to attend a re-class school for my full time job and for the Army, out in California. While there, I met Jonelle Morrow with whom I became best friends for that whole month at school together! Upon returning to MN, I immediately planned a trip to visit her and her family in Georgia. During this trip I first met Casey who is the best friend of Jonelle's husband Jake. He took work off that weekend in April 2015, to stay at Jonelle and Jake's as Jonelle had a fun weekend planned for all of us! Casey ended up driving me to the airport that Sunday, since he lived in the city, it made the most sense. I remember him parking and walking me into the airport, and at that moment, I knew I would be back again! The very next day at work, I was looking at flights, and found some cheap ones two weeks out, early in May. Casey and I continued texting back and forth and I went forward with booking the tickets, this time with the intention to to visit Casey.

I got on my plane and I was off to see Casey for the second time! At the end of my Friday to Tuesday trip, Casey formally asked me to be his girlfriend. I remember the swirl of happiness and excitement that overcame me on my fligth home. Not only was I now in a relationship, but with a gentleman from the south which was a long-time dream of mine. I was excited to see where this was going to lead! Casey and I spent the summer flying back and forth, meeting each other’s families and friends, and before we knew it, Casey found a job in MN, and moved on Labor Day weekend.

Casey’s parents and sister planned to come to Minnesota in July 2016 to camp with my family at Big Sandy Lake (our favorite!). This was the first time our parents were to meet. The weekend/week seemed to fly by as our families got a long very well and all enjoyed the time together. Tuesday morning, Casey, Sydney and I went for a quick run, and then got ready to head out on the boat. That day, was perfect for boating because it was a beautiful and sunny! Dad (Greg Lindstrom) said we would be heading out around noon, meaning, don’t be late, because he will leave without ya! ;-). Sydney and Casey came to me and mentioned going to find a good spot for a quick picture or two, and I thought nothing of it, because Sydney always wants to take pictures!
The Proposal

Looking forward to our boat ride, the three of us went for a walk to find a nice backdrop while Sydney set up the ipad for a “timed” picture of us three. Me, being completely oblivious to it all, was really concerned that the “timer” on the ipad worked and captured all of us in the picture… all while, Casey’s heart is jumping out of his chest, waiting patiently to pop the question. Sydney was actually taping the whole thing. At the time, I was thinking she was going to take a picture of Casey and I, and we would be on our way. That is when Casey turned to me, got down on one knee, and asked for my hand in marriage. I couldn’t have been any happier! The timing was perfect, the plan was perfect, and the moment was perfect.
After having our moment, we chatted on the walk back, and Casey told me no one knew, so I would be able to tell all of the family back at our camper. I had nothing but happy tears walking back to our families! It was the best to have everyone that meant the most to us there all at the same time!

We now own our first home, in Andover, MN and love it! Super exited to see what this next year has in store for us, and also excited for the big day, October 7, 2017; when I become a Mrs. Freeman. - Kayla

INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS: Each individual guest must make their own reservations by calling 1-800-245-9190 by Friday, May 19, 2017. They must identify themselves as members of the Group, under Lindstrom/Freeman Wedding. All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.

A: No, absolutely not! Our style is genuine, and that is what makes us different. Though formals are nice, it is the shots with raw emotion, the ones we get when our couples don't know we are photographing them, that people fall in love with.
Q: Do I really have to wait 4 weeks to get my images after my wedding day? 1 month seems a bit long….
A: We say that to allow cushion just in case of emergencies. In most cases, you will receive your images in less than 4 weeks.

Of course, Tiana and I have been sisters since birth, but we ALSO have been friends since birth. Yes, we had a couple fights here and there, but the majority of our life, we have gotten along and bonded as sisters. I have always looked up to my big sister in all things in life; being smart, hardworking, taking pride in the things we accomplish, loving our parents, and most of all, advice! I am so grateful that she and I get along so well; there is nothing like a sister bond. She and Craig are also making me a first time auntie, and I cannot wait to meet the little girl in March!

Kirbie and I met at some point in college, although we didn’t go to college together. I met her through Courtney, as they were good friends, and Kirbie would come visit and party with us on the weekends in Mankato. I think we really “hit it off” when she came to visit/stay with me for my 21st birthday weekend! I remember being surprised, as Courtney wasn’t going to make it, and Kirbie was still coming (not knowing many people). I am so thankful she did, because that started what will be, a lifelong friendship! Kirbie and I lived together for a couple years after college, and made some really great memories. We became so close, our parents thought of us as third children to their families! Kirbie has recently gotten engaged too, so I am super excited to go through this wedding planning with her and celebrate her big day in August 2017!

Sydney is Casey’s younger sister, and although I already have a sister, I have always wanted a younger sibling, so I couldn’t be more excited to be getting one! I love the bond Casey and Sydney have, as it is like no other sibling relationship; they are always there for each other, and Casey looks out for his sister and loves her so much. I am excited to be a part of their family, and hope to be there for Sydney too, giving her the best advice I can while she embarks on her journey through life, finishing college and finding the man of her dreams, someday (girl, enjoy it while you can).

I honestly don’t remember the moment we met, but it has been some years ago, back in the dancing days (16 years ago??). I am so glad my mom finally put me into dance lessons, because I gained this beautiful friendship! Katie and I can go months without talking, and yet we pick up right where we left off, which is why our friendship has stayed so strong over the years! Katie’s recently married to a wonderful man, Greg, and I am so excited to see what our future holds as best “couple” friends!

Oh gosh, where do I start? Kelley and I have been childhood friends since 1st grade! She lived not too far from me and I remember some of the best memories being made with her; riding bikes to school, jumping on her trampoline for hours, parties at each other’s houses, cat fights, summer days spent with each other, birthday parties, dating best friends in High School, getting matching tattoos, and visiting each other in college. Kelley is the friend that has always been there for me no matter what, and I love her for that!

Courtney and I met in college, even though it wasn’t on good standards at first One summer, we were the only girls that stayed in Mankato, so naturally, we went out with all of our guy friends all of the time, and eventually we became best buds! So glad we got over the petty stuff and “clicked” because this lady is an awesome friend. We share many memories from college and sometimes, I wish we could go back; those were the days!

Jazzy and I met in 2009 through the MN National Guard. She was a Supply Sergeant and our companies shared rooms at the time (drill weekends). I don’t know when we started becoming friends outside of drill, but what I do know is that I have always looked up to this strong, driven, hardworking lady. She’s definitely one who gave me the motivation to be the best I can at what I do in the Army and I continue to look up to her. This woman has a big heart and is one great friend!

Lauren and I also go way back to elementary days. Actually, I believe we met in t-ball or softball! This girl is the most caring and hilarious friend you can have. Lauren and I can also go months without talking, but pick up right where we left off. One thing that makes this girl stand out as a friend; she ALWAYS remembers to thank me on Veterans day, no matter where she or I are, she’s always sending me a message!
